Assistant Coach, River dance:
In my opinion dancing is a way of getting healthy exercise while having fun. River dance is an Irish dance art that holds elements of ballet, step dance and medieval folkdance. The Irish music has an incredible positive energy and one lesson of river dance gives renewed energy to enhance creativity and loosen up.
Arrangement of the annually Medieval Festival:
2006 - now
Each year I participate in the arrangement and management of the annually medieval festival at Voergaard Castle. The festival attracts more than 20,000 people and lasts 10 days. Our yearly turnover is now more than 1.5 mio. DKKR.
The voluntary organization behind the festival is "Voergaard Levende Historie"(VLH) which means "Voergaard Living History". The purpose of this festival is to show the public how daily life was like back in 1533 just before the reformation of the church (when Denmark went from being Catholics to Protestants). The scene is the beautiful Voergaard Castle in the middle of the forest.
VLH currently has about 300 members and an elected executive committee of 7 persons where I am currently a board member.
Besides making decisions about the arrangements with the other board members I am currently single-handedly responsible for the production and design of the festival brochure, as well as developing and maintaining the external and internal websites:

Oil painting:
1997 - now
In my spare time i enjoy painting with oil colors. This interest began when I took an optional course in art back in 1997. Ever since I have used painting as a way of processing the undulations of life.
Sewing:
2006 - now
When I engaged in arranging the Medieval Festival at Voergaard, I found out that to sew was yet another creative field which I both enjoy and find myself good at. Hence I have now sewed more than 10 medieval dresses, and continue to find it relaxing and interesting. The most thrilling element is to figure out the design of the dress. Below and on the left is depicted some of my work.
